Coastal Pacific Mining Corp. Completes Initial Payment Towards Santa Rita Option
CALGARY, ALBERTA--(Marketwire - November 4, 2010) -  Coastal Pacific Mining Corp. (OTCBB: CPMCF) ("Coastal Pacific" or the "Company"), announces the completion of the initial installment on the Santa Rita Option Agreement. The Company has forwarded the initial cash payment and processed a treasury order for the payment shares pursuant to the terms of the option agreement entered into effective November 1, 2010. 
The Company has an option for a 50% interest in a group of two claims, encompassing 1200 Hectares, known as Santa Rita ("Property"). The Property is situated in the District of Acobambilla, Province of Huancavelica, Department of Huancavelica, in the Republic of Peru; approximately 200 km southeast of Lima. Previously exploration work has identified wide veins and a surface manto which are attractive features of the Property. There is potential of a much larger manto underlying the one at surface, which will be a target of future exploration work. A copy of the NI43-101 can be found on the Company's website.
Details of the option agreement are filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission. 
The Company is very excited about their participation in the Santa Rita Property and looks forward to finalizing the financing to undertake the first year exploration program.
